I was shopping at the Jewel on 2485 Howard in Evanston Illinois last night September 25. An old woman and daughter was yelling at a young cashier.

No one did anything about it. No managers came to resolve the situation. I felt very uncomfortable. This dispute between them could have been handled better since the cashier was on duty.

The young cashier was flustered and embarrassed. I am not used to this kind of display at a grocery store this late at night. The young cashier continued to do a good job in spite of all the yelling.

I hope the young cashier is okay. She is a nice person.

To Jewel Osco Yelling At Cashier. As an customer, i agree.

These poor employees who are so sweet and caring, they should not be treated by mean and nasty customers who think that they are right. There are rude and arrogant customers need too be called out. I am always seeing mean and nasty customers too the some of the sweetest and caring employees. Here's something you are able too do about this.

Hoping this helps you out. You could call or go into the store and talk too the manager about the mean and nasty customer,. And you could tell what the employee encountered with the customer. No employee should go through this.

I am aware of an similar situation. While i was shopping at my location, i was paying for my food. An mean and nasty customer behind me. The mean and nasty customer, "Oh.

I am not going too go into this register." This is the... register." "Why do people like these...work here?" The mean and nasty customer was yelling at this employee who is so sweet and caring too others, "Hurry up you..." "You're ... aren't you?" I am not going too say what this customer is was so brutal too hear. I am so shocked and appalled people making fun of people that need too learn more than others.

At this point, i am mad and angry.

I asked too speak too the front end manager, and i told the manager about the mean and nasty customer who is spreading hate and arrogance. They kicked this customer out.

It needs too stop. There was an couple came into the register where i was bagging at. I am always happy and friendly too help out the customer and the employees of the store. I am alway aware that people have good and bad days.

And I'm aware that people have good and bad experiences at retail. But people should not take their problems out onto other people when they are doing nothing wrong! Then trouble started with the couple. I said, happy and friendly, "Hi." "How are you today?" The couple said rudely and arrogantly, "Umm.

Are we able too have an different bagger?" They rolled their eyes. Remind you, i was working with this company for years. I am always making sure that the soft stuff is onto the top and the hard stuff is onto the bottom of the bags or of the carts. The cashier who i was bagging for left, but the other cashier who i was bagging for came into the shift.

The Cashier said, happy and friendly, said "Hi." "How are you today?" The couple said, rude and arrogantly, "Hello!" The employees and managers and other customers let them know i am an happy and friendly bagger. I am always getting along with others. The couple said rudley and arrogantly, "Okay." While i was bagging for them and putting their things into the bags, hard first and soft last. The couple said rude, "No.

No. No." "We have these coupons for the things we are buying." The cashier already ringed up the order. The cashier had go back in and put the coupons in. The cashier told the couple about the expired date onto other others coupons of the store.

The last two or three coupons were expired. The couple said, rudley and arrogantly "Okay." The couple said racially profiling,"Why do we always too have an problem with an ....employee or an ...cashier or an...manager?" I am not going too say what they said. It was too racist. Me i am like, "Now.

You're able too leave, and you can take you and your cart out of the store." The couple said "Excuse Us?" The Cashier said, "You think were playing with you?" The couple left. They did not return.

Agreed with all of you. It's so sad too see all of the mean and nasty customers too think that they are entitled too the sweetest and nicest employees and managers.

I worked into retail for so many years. I have seen so many terrible things that had happened too managers and employees. This including something that had happened too me while i was working. I am always helpful too the customers and too the employees.

While i working all over the store. We were really busy. We had an sale going on. An customer asked me what the sales were going onto for the wings and the beer.

I showed them the prices and the adds. The customer said, "No. No. No." "That is the wrong price onto the wrong item." Very rude and arrogantly.

Remind you, i am always double checking the items and the prices. The customer said, rude, "I want too speak too the manager too the store." I asked for the manager too the store too speak too the customer. I think i am able too speak for all employees and all managers. You could hear how rude this customer was from the back of the store too the front of the store.

The manager said, "Hi. How are we able too help you for what you're... Before the manager is able too say anything else, the customer said rude, "Well. Well.

Well. You're able too train your employees and managers a lot better if they know what they are doing." All of the employees were so nice too this customer, even though this customer was being an tool too other employees and management. The manager apologized. The customer showed the manager the add and the price onto the display.

It was the different days the different sales was going on. It was printed onto the departments too. The manager said, "I'm so sorry about this. But this is onto the wrong price and wrong item.

The manager was so nice and helpful too show them what was displayed. They had the wrong items onto the wrong prices. The customer said rude, "...You. You're lying." At this point, i am mad and angry, because of what had happened next.

The manager said, nice and sweet, "We told you that stuff you're buying is not the right items and prices. " The customer said rude, "Okay." The customer apologized. The customer bought the beer and the bucket of wings. The customer left.

Or so i thought, this is where trouble started again. As i am getting ready too leave the customer returned with the bucket of wings and the beer. Within an hour, the customer told the departments that there was something inside of the buckets and the beer. The customer left and asked for an refund, because the wings did not taste right and the beer did not taste right.

I am not kidding, when i am saying is what they found inside was so gross and disgusting. The beer bottles smelled like p... and the bucket of wings smelled like s.. When they opened the bucket of wings, they found s...

covered into the wings. They opened the beer bottles and they found p.. inside of them.

The customer was caught into the act doing this stuff outside onto the cameras. The customer was arrested.

Entitled customers are the worst. They think they can get away stuff when they can and when they want. They cannot. I am an retail worker.

I have seen so many mean and nasty customers being mean and nasty too employees or managers who are so nice and sweet. One of the days, I working my shift. I was asked too work into one of the different departments because they over scheduled people into the department i worked in. While I was asked too help out the bakery.

I was doing over stock into the bakery and facing the cakes and the pies. While i was also working onto prices for the cakes and the pies an customer, rude and arrogantly said, "Excuse me. " "Excuse me." "Excuse me." This customer took both of the hands and started snapping the fingers at the other managers and employees. Before any of the them could respond too this customer.

"The manager said, nice and sweet, "Hi. Welcome Too Jewel Osco. How are we able too help you with what you're looking for?" The customer said rude and arrogant, "What are the sales and the prices too the pies?" The manager explained the prices and the sales too the customers. The customer said, rude, "So.

You do not go any other deals or sales from the pies too the cakes? The manager went out the way for this customer and showing them other deals and sales too this customer. Even though this customer was being an tool too everybody working into this department. This is where trouble started with this customer.

While i was loading the other cakes, pies and the cookies out onto where they belong. This customer came too me and asked me, "Are you an manager? "I need too speak too an 'actual manager' not an fake manager." This customer was so rude and arrogant. This customer made it seem like were lying and fabricating too them.

Which we were not. I asked this customer, nice and sweet, "Are you looking for an store manager or an different manager too an different department?" Keep in mind, this customer was going back and forth into the different departments. So that way there is no confusion onto that. I am asking this because i am always verifying this.

That way there's no confusion. This customer said rude and arrogant, "I need you too get me an manager, and if you don't, i am going too knock you out thinking you're working into an different department or an different store." Me, I am like trying too joke with the customer. I am thinking that this customer has had an bad day, so i am taking these comments in and letting these comments go. I said,"I would like too see you try too do that too me." "And you will see where it would get you." I called the store manager over too talk too the customer about the deals and sales.

I am able too take things in and let things go, but when I am feed up, i mean, i am feed up. This is what happened next. While i walking from the outside too the inside of the bakery, making all of the sales and deals were accurate. This customer was opening the pies, biting and nibbling while sticking the fingers inside of them.

This was so gross and disgusting too watch. I said, "You're able too leave." This customer had the nerve too throw one of the pies into the front of me, while landing onto the shirt and the pants, with some of it going inside of the shirts and pants. Luckily it was not one of that was not bitten or nibbled into too. I am mad and angry by this time.

I am not normally an screamer. But when entitled customers think that they can get away with anything. I screamed, "You're going too leave." The other managers and employees saw what had happened. They called called the cops and the other store managers.

They made sure i am okay. This customer was laughing and giggling. And This customer said, (rudely and arrogant): "Now. You're going too do the right price." I am going from the inside and outside of the bakery, and said , "And you're going too leave or we are going too give you an beating thinking you are not going too mess with people like us again like this." This customer was still laughing and giggles.

When i was going too where the customer was at. This customer was running from the inside and outside of the store. This customer knew we don't play with customers who play stupid games and winning stupid prizes. For all of you retail workers out there, bless all of you.

and hope all of you don't have go through this. Companies don't pay us enough too go through this with entitled customers thinking that they are all that!

We do not need too be treated like *** as employees or managers at any retail company. Entitled customers need too be called out for the way they treat these employees and managers. I have an story about what i had that had happened too me while i was working an shift. I was doing facing and stocking into the holiday section.

It was Valentine's Day. I was stocking the and facing the candy boxes. I saw an customer going through the boxes, opening and closing them. This customer was eating some of the candy that was inside of the boxes.

Then spitting them back into the boxes. While putting the boxes back onto the shelves. This was so gross and disgusting. I am not kidding when i am thinking, I am not seeing this.

There's no way i am seeing this. I walked too where the customer was at. This customer saw me, while i was running too him too confront him. I am also going too add, the reason why i am chasing him, is also saw him stealing Valentine's day cards and flowers too.

The other customers and employees, informed me i was not the only one seeing this too, catching him stealing and eating the candy from the boxes. The customer was running from the inside an outside of the store. This customer did not return. I am really mad, angry and sad, that any entitled customer would steep this low, just too get something for free or too do this too an store.

My heart goes out any retail company, employees or managers.

I am hoping none of you had deal with what happened like this! This was so nasty!

I was working at shift. I was working into the different isles. While i was putting overstock and facing. I saw this customer.

This customer was going up and down the different isles. This customer was filming people's private areas, from their fronts too their backs. While standing by them, and into the front of them, from an distance, without them knowing. While making sexual references about them.

I told the customers about what was going on with the other customer. I confronted the customer.I told the other managers and employees about the customer. I am like "Really?" This customer said, rude, "Here's what you're going too do, you're going too shut your mouth and mind your business." Me, I am like "Here's what you're going too do, you're going too take you and your camera out of here, before i am going throw you and knock you out and your camera out of here." This customer said, "Well, with your... and your...

i am not buying into that!" Let's just say, at our company we are always cool and collected, but when were am done, we are done. The manager knocked out this customer. The said, "I told you, you don't want too mess with any of us! Turns out this customer was doing this too the other employees and managers as well.

This customer left. This customer did not reason.
