Talk about having to wait for more than 10 minutes at the deli department to get 1 pound of Cajun Turkey. I was waiting in line behind a couple who were serviced by this one worker, and every other deli department worker that was there, did not want to service the rest of us customers who were waiting. This was the worst inconvenient service I have ever seen at the Roosevelt-Wabash Jewel-Osco store in Chicago, IL, and I wouldn't want to go back to this store ever again.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

To: August 13th, Wow. We hit another jackpot with another customer who think that the customers are always right.

You know this is an grocery store, not an fast food store! There are different reason why there's only one worker, people could be onto their break or people could of called of sick, and maybe the person you're talking about was leaving, and someone else was coming in.

Sound's like you are an uneducated person who does not know how an grocery store works. If you want fast service, maybe you should go too an fast food company.

I worked for this company for many years. I have seen so many employees being treated like they don't matter and exist, including me. I have so many stories about so many mean and nasty customers. While i was working.

The managers asked me if i wanted too stay. I agreed. Because it was Sunday. It was time and an half.

Everything was good, until the last hour when i working the shift.. I have had an mean and nasty couple that would come in the register i was working at. Everything would be fine, until they got too their groceries. They would ask the checker too check their ids from their liquor.

I am kidding when i am saying, they smelled like they were already drunk. Then they would get mean and nasty too the employees the are underage and cannot override it. They said, "Don't make us slap you. You're going too override it." They said the same thing too me, while i was bagging.

I am like, "I'm sorry. I am not an cashier. " "I am an bagger. I am able too go see if the manager is onto their way too help you with your purchase." The mean and nasty couple, "....You." You're going too take too long." Remind you, i am an working hard worker.

I am always able too go out of the way for others if they need it. It took about two minutes for the manager too come too where the liquor was at. From the office too the register. The manager override the liquor.

While i am getting ready too leave too go home. It was 10:00. So as i was about too clock out, they asked me too stay even later, because we were busy. I though why not, the overtime is going too be worth it.

An 8 hour shift. Onto the overcome, the manager said, "Liquor is closed." The couple were back. They were stocking up onto more liquor. They came back into the front of the store.

They had two employees and managers explain too them about the closing time for the liquor. Even though they were mean and nasty, i still have an heart for my customers. I just figured they had an bad day.The couple: (rudely): "Let us guess you're not going too sell us this, now?" I am like, "I'm sorry sorry. But we stopped selling liquor at 10:00.

It is 10:20. " The customers said, "Yeah Right. " The customers: We would like too speak too the store manager. And see what he or she has too say about this." I am like, (still helpful): "Okay.

" While i was walking too where the store manager was at. I am thinking too myself, I am thinking how many times do we need tell this couple about the liquor. The store manager could tell i am annoyed because there's other stuff i should be doing, then having an customer arguing with an employee about something that cannot be fixed or changed. Remind you, the couple kept onto ask me too ring them up, while i already explained too them, i am an bagger, and the department too the liquor is closed.

The store manager, "Are you okay?" The store manager was working into that department. The manager told them the same thing about four times. As I am talking too the store manager, i explained the situation too the store manager about the customers about the liquor. While the customers, i am not kidding while i am saying this.

The store manager walked too the couple. "Okay. We said we closed the liquor at 10:00." While the manager is clearly closing the department and locking the liquor up. The couple said, (while turning the sign too 12:00): It's says 12:00." The manager had too the couple out for causing an scene.

They threw the liquor bottles that they had bought from the outside of the store, too the e inside of the store, shattering the windows. Let's just say, the police had caught them.

They were arrested. I am so relieved nobody was hurt or injured.
