i went to your store at 95th and roberts rd at 845 am today after i dropped my wife at work. i went to meat department and there was only 30-35% shelves stocked , there were no whole chickens, no beef roasts, etc.

there was an employee named Glen who was throwing shaved ice at the fish counter like he was shoveling coal. When i asked if anyone worked in the meat dept he said in a minute. Since he figures his time is more valuable than mine, he finally throws the ice scoop at the case says that they technically are not open yet!!!!! He throws a black metal object at the sink behind the counter and multiple racks come crashing down so he kicks them out of his way .

At this point I tell him forget it and what is your name. He says Ill help you now, in response I say not on your life you can *** off after that horrendous display. If you don't like the management and your job go work somewhere else. I leave about $150.00 worth of groceries in my cart and go up front and ask for a manager.

She starts paging managers, John, Mike and two others. Employees tell her none of them are there. I wait 5 minutes and decide its about time to sever ties with your ineptly managed stores, I have never seen so many employees complaining about customers, food racks, vendors blocking aisles and more. My family and I have been shopping at Jewel stores my entire life, I am in my 60's and will never again walk into a Jewel and I suggest you terminate all your employees who act like this complaining about customers who are the main life source of your business.

With Marianos, Aldi, FairPlay and all the other choices customers have in Chicago good luck with the business plan you are promoting through your inept management and rude employees. I know you don't care about one customer who spends $500 month on groceries at your stores, but I'll make it a point to solicit others to never frequent your stores again Your management and employees should be ashamed of themselves

To August 4th, i am so sorry too hear about your experience. The customers come first.

I know a lot of ex employees and an ex customers at Jewel. Everything you're talking about is so right, the employees treat the customers so rude and nasty, as the employees treat the employees rude and nasty too.
