The lines are always too long. Never enough cashiers, seems like, since they stopped the "self service" registers. And the "cluster" cashiers.....there is no defined line to stand in, so the lines are always longer, which is depressing when you stop in for an item or two, and need to get out. And, there are no baggers, so it takes even longer to leave!

And finally, the got *** prices....increasing by 30 cents every other week. Cool Whip was $1.79. Jumped to 2.09. Now, $3.29, and all this within six weeks, because I buy it often for my coffee!

I got to Food for Less, and get the exact same item for $99!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Better service, less Whole Food type pricing. .

My suggestion to you is write the CEO. I am a former Jewel employee in the suburbs and the problem is this....

Jewel workers are paid low wages and treated very badly by management. They purposely don't schedule enough people to work so that the CEO can pocket more money. They really could careless if you shop there or not. Because of the work environment Jewel employees could careless about the customers.

Low pay, low hours, expecting workers to do everything and being treated extremely bad by management. That's what's going on with Jewel. The CEO of Jewel is a disgusting person for running his stores in this manner.

And you know what? He could careless what is written about Jewel because at the end of the day he made his money and then some.

Annoymous Couldn't agree with you more. I am an ex employee and ex customer at this company, at least at the location i used too work at.

Some of the managers are so mean and rude too the customers, and too the employees after i quit my job, i called and complained about the employeess who treated everybody like ***.

I'm hoping that they got them fired. I wish i would of quit ten years ago.
